 Drew Seeley is a Canadian-born actor, recording artist, performer and songwriter that

rose to fame in 2005 when he co-wrote and recorded “Getcha Head in the Game”

for Disney’s 6X platinum High School Musical soundtrack, and received an Emmy

nomination in the “Best Original Song and Lyrics” category. Drew also co-starred in

the North American and Latin American tours of “High School Musical: The Concert”

playing lead character Troy Bolton to packed arenas and stadiums.

 

Also on stage, Drew starred on Broadway as Prince Eric in Disney’s ‘The Little

Mermaid’ and was an original cast member in Harold Prince’s revival of ‘Showboat’.

He has written and/or recorded music for over 10 Disney soundtracks and

compilations including DisneyMania (4,5,6,7), Shake It Up 1 & 2, Cheetah Girls 2,

Jump In!, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Disney Channel Christmas. In 2011, Drew

released his debut album ‘The Resolution’ to much acclaim and has released four

music videos in support of it, including the upcoming single “Into the Fire” releasing

March 18, 2013.

 

His film and television career has included roles on One Tree Hill, The Closer, The

Suite Life, and a starring turn in Warner Premiere’s Another Cinderella Story, playing

pop star Joey Parker opposite Selena Gomez. Drew also co-wrote and performed 4

songs in the film. One of these songs, “New Classic,” enjoyed a slot on Radio Disney’s

Top 10 countdown for 2 months, and the music video has surpassed 3 million views

on YouTube.

 

Drew starred alongside 30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden in the Adam Sandler produced

film, The Shortcut, reunited with HSM alum Lucas Grabeel for the rock musical film,

I Kissed A Vampire, which featured an original soundtrack, and portrayed the title

character in the Hallmark Channel original movie, Freshman Father. The film, based

on a true story, included the popular song, “Best At The Time,” co-penned by Drew.

He also starred in the TBS TV series, Glory Daze, playing an aspiring politician named

Jason Wilson.

 

2013 is a big year musically for Drew. He stars in the ABC Family TV movie Love

Struck: The Musical opposite Chelsea Kane, which features his over-the-top

rendition of Usher’s “DJ’s Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” set to air April 21. In conjunction

with the new movie, Drew co-wrote and performed “Here & Now,” the theme song

to ABC Family’s spring promotional campaign. The song will be featured on Drew’s

brand new dance-pop EP set to be released in April.
