Derek Theler portrays Danny Wheeler, Ben's brother, a professional hockey player. Danny recently relocated to New York and has moved in with Ben and Tucker.
Derek Theler grew up playing sports and graduated from Colorado State with a degree in pre-medicine. From there he was cast in commercials for Nike, Coke Zero, State Farm, Kayak and Arby's. He can currently be seen in a Verizon ad.
Previously Theler filmed a three-episode arc on the fourth season of 90210, as Anna Lynne McCord's love interest. Additionally, he was a reoccurring comedian in sketches for the "Conan O'Brien Show."
Theler was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and currently resides in Los Angeles.
