The series premiere of Bunheads is less than a few weeks away! We’re SO excited. And we know you guys are too. But before we get to the big premiere, do you know what a “bunhead” actually is? Check out the cute picture above for a better idea!

Need more help? Well, the cast of Bunheads is here to explain. “The term ‘bunhead’ is very well known in the ballet world,” shares Bailey Buntain, who plays Ginny. “And hopefully now in pop culture too!”

“It’s someone who’s dedicating their life to the art of ballet -- and it’s a true art form,” explains Sutton Foster (Michelle). And she should know! Sutton studied ballet until she was around 20 years old. “When I got this job I started taking ballet again,” she continues. “And it’s hard!” (Did you know Sutton is a huge Broadway star too?
