Kaitlyn’s Dance Bag

Pointe shoes/Ballet slippers/Jazz shoes/Hip Hop tennies: “I always carry all of my dance shoes so that I am ready for whatever style of choreography I am rehearsing, or am prepared if I decide to go take a class on a whim. Not pictured are my pointe shoe pads, which I definitely can’t do without! I think I left them in wardrobe?”
Ballet skirts: “I love to wear a ballet skirt to class because it makes me feel pretty! I usually carry an assortment of colors and styles with me so I will have plenty of choices.”
Leotard & pink tights: “I usually throw in an extra leotard just to be safe, and carry and extra pair of “ballet pink” tights. I guess I am a purist...I love my pink tights and rarely wear black ones to class.”
Towel: “It’s true, I sweat when I take class!”
Hair Spray: “Gotta have it. No frays allowed!”
Hair clips: “Wearing your hair in a bun can get boring so I slip a hair clip on to add some style to it. These are ones my Mom actually made for me. Sweet, right?”
Bandages: “Blisters are inevitable; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!”
Purple coin purse and meter change: “This was a gift from our executive producer and director Amy Sherman-Palladino and inside it she had a sweet necklace to celebrate our first official day of filming Bunheads. I keep the coin purse filled with meter change, because in L.A. they show no mercy when it comes to parking tickets!”
Deodorant: “Probably don’t need to explain that!”
Inhaler: “Although I don’t need to use it often, I sometimes have to take a puff if my sports asthma acts up. That usually only happens on smoggy L.A. days or humid New York ones!”
Ear phones: “I carry a pair in my bag because I like to listen to music before class starts. Gets me in the mood!
