Q&A from the Live Chat with Sutton Foster

Miss the live chat with Bunheads' star Sutton Foster? No worries! We've compiled the incredible Q&A here for you. What's been her favorite Bunheads scene? Would Michelle and Lorelai Gilmore get along? Sutton answers those and more, so keep reading!

QUESTION: Sutton is my absolute favorite actress! So excited about this. What was your most memorable Broadway experience?

SUTTON: Probably Anything Goes! It was a dream role of mine! To get to play such a broad was awesome.

QUESTION: What's been your favorite moment on Bunheads so far? Mine was when Michelle sang "Maybe This Time" during the finale last year. I cried like a baby. You were SO good!

SUTTON: That performance was a definite highlight, but one of my favorite experiences is coming up. It's in the episode with my brother!

QUESTION: Which of the four younger Bunheads reminds you the most of you when you were a teenager?

SUTTON: Probably a mix of Boo and Melanie. I'm a bit of a tomboy like Melanie, and I think I had a lot of the wide-eyed innocence of Boo.

QUESTION: You're so talented, where do you get your inspiration from? Do you have a favorite actress? I love watching you perform!

SUTTON: When I was growing up, I loved Carol Burnett and the Muppet Show. And I love comedy. I love stand up comics. I guess that was my early inspiration. I just always knew I wanted to be a performer.

QUESTION: Do you think Lorelei Gilmore and Michelle Sims would get along if they met? (And were real…)

SUTTON: They would probably have a talk-off. And Michelle might win... I don't think Lorelei would have patience with Michelle. It's like Michelle is Lorelei's young, lost sister.

QUESTION: As a dancer, do you feel as though the youth watching the show may be influenced to dance more? If so, why? I am a teen myself and I am quite interested in your thoughts.

SUTTON: I would hope so! I think what's exciting about the show it that it showcases dance but also the dancers and what that means and what it takes to have that type of life. I hope that it inspires young dancers even if it's just for fun or to pursue a career as a dancer.
