Actor Bio

Kaitlyn Jenkins, a native Californian, is an accomplished dancer who is now enjoying her first major television role as “Boo” in “Bunheads. The daughter of a professional ballet dancer, Kaitlyn discovered her love of performing early and began taking dance classes when she was three years old. While Kaitlyn specializes in Ballet, Pointe, and Contemporary dance, she can perform a broad range of styles including Modern, Tap, Jazz, and Ballroom. Kaitlynʼs extensive training consists of time spent with the American Ballet Theatre in New York, the Boston Ballet, Katsbaan, The Jillana School and the Anaheim Ballet. She has danced in many full length ballets including The Nutcracker, Midsummer Nightʼs Dream, and Alice in Wonderland, and has also danced excerpts from Romeo & Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake to name a few. Kaitlyn is a proud graduate of the Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California where she attended the Music and Theatre conservatory.

 

In her free time Kaitlyn enjoys singing, going to the beach, working out at the gym, and spending time with friends. She loves animals and is a pet owner of a cat and two dogs.
