TROIAN: Thank you, and I'm so glad that you enjoy Spencer so much! The key to her success is her friends' support. Spencer naturally works hard and doesn't need anyone to push her, but she does need a shoulder to lean on.

QUESTION: Pretty Little Liars makes a lot of cool references to movies and books like Ali's secret identity of Vivian Darkbloom, who is a character in Lolita. Or the Psycho homage in the season two finale when Hanna is in the shower. My question is: what is your favorite book and movie? And what is Spencer's favorite book and movie?

TROIAN: Vivian Darkbloom is an anagram of Vladimir Nabokov. One of my favorite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. One of my favorite books is Catcher in the Rye. Little known fact...Spencer is actually illiterate.

QUESTION: Where did you get your twitter name from?

TROIAN: A Bright Eyes song.

QUESTION: Do you ever plan to visit Asia? And what’s your favorite holiday destination?

TROIAN: I am planning to visit Asia in about four days. And my favorite holiday destination so far has been my trip to New Zealand.

QUESTION: What was the hardest scene, emotionally, that you had to shoot? PS. I LOVE YOU!

TROIAN: P.P.S. I love you, too! The hardest scene emotionally has yet to air. But when it does, I hope you'll enjoy it.

QUESTION: Is it hard to film all of those crying scenes?

TROIAN: It's not the most fun I've ever had. When Spencer cries in one scene, it averages to about four hours of Troian crying in one day.

QUESTION: I love this season so much -- especially the Mona vs. Spencer story. Has Mona finally met her match? And have you enjoyed this story as much as the fans have?

TROIAN: I have enjoyed it immensely, especially all the scenes with Janel, who is such an lovely person and amazing actress. I think that Spencer and Mona are intellectual matches. And I couldn't tell you who would win in any given day.
