We are very big fans of the purple craze this season. It is a calming and rich color that really works with everything you already have in your closet. It is a great partner with black and is a perfect paring with denim. We like it with all of the great printed jean options out there too.  You can wear it like your neutral colors and get tons of use out of the color.  For evening, purple is exceptionally beautiful.
