So much wondering and worrying in this episode. First and foremost, the situation with Jack: What actually happened? Who beat him up? Will they ever find the guy? And is Jack going to be okay? Not knowing the answer to any of those questions is difficult for everyone.

But there are other unknowns going on too. Mostly involving relationships and families. Does Amy want to go to New York for college, and if so what does that mean for John and Ricky? Now that Ben has figured out the truth about the Amy-Ricky marriage situation, how long until everyone else finds out? What does Ricky's renewed friendship with Clementine mean? Will Adrian and Omar take the next step and move in together? What kind of relationship will Kathy and Ethan be able to maintain as she continues her pregnancy and goes through with an adoption plan? The Sausage King and Camille have been married for a day and they're already adding to their family – how is that going to play out? Amy's mom seems happy about her new friend but how will her getting involved with a woman (who is Nora's AA sponsor!) sit with everyone else? Will Dylan do better at an all-girls high school and step away from the boy-drama that swirled around her at Grant High? And when did Tom and Tammy get back together and what's the next for them? Relationship rollercoasters for everyone.
