Character Bio

Mimsy is Anne Juergens's mother, which makes her Amy and Ashley's super-sweet, doting grandma. But it turns out that Mimsy has issues of her own: She has Alzheimer's. So now she's in a facility, and she's gone and remarried -- without telling or inviting anyone from the family. Hmmm. What other surprises could she have up her sleeve?  

Actor Bio

If Alice looks familiar, it's because she was a television regular throughout the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, with leading roles on One Live to Live and Somerset, plus parts in tons of other popular series, including Full House, 7th Heaven, NYPD Blue, ER, Murphy Brown, and Ellen (playing Ellen DeGeneres's mom). Alice has two grown sons, including the playwright David Hirson.
