Did you get a chance to participate in our live blog party with Constance Marie? Well, we gathered all of the Constance's answers to all of your questions for you to read through right her. Find out more about this season, some secrets about Switched at Birth and what's next for Regina!
Question: I really love Switched at Birth, and I’m very impressed with you because you are learning to sign! Will there be more of Switched at Birth after this season?
Constance Marie: Heck yeah! We got picked up for season two!
Question: What's it like to have been acting on a comedy show for so long and then to act on a drama show? Are they similar in some way or completely different?
Constance Marie: The difference between comedy and drama is comedy has a tremendous amount of pressure to get the laugh. Drama you cry a lot--not so easy. But both pay my rent!
Question: I’m a big fan of Switched at Birth. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to TV. You and Lea Thompson are my favorite TV moms in the whole world! Do you hang out with any of the cast of Switched at Birth when you are not taping for the show?
Constance Marie: Yes! I hang out with all of them, all the time...except when my little baby girl needs me. I'm still on mommy hours.
Question: How many hours do you spend learning ASL before you get it right?
Constance Marie: Depends how long the scene is and/or if it's a fight scene because Regina Vasquez's hands move fast in a fight.
Question: Are you going to teach your daughter ASL? (PS - She's sooooo cute!!!!)
Constance Marie: Thank you!! I think she's cute too, and she already knows 15 signs (she's a genius).
Question: What enticed you about the pilot episode to play Regina?
Constance Marie: I was raised by a single mother, and I love the role of Regina Vasquez because she's a single mother, who wasn't a victim and was raising her child in a way that made me proud.
