Question: How do you relate to Daphne on the show? 
Katie Leclerc: Daphne's really happy and positive, and she's able to overcome obstacles, and I really try to be like Daphne in life.

Question: What's going on between Daphne and Chef Jeff?!!! Spill more about the romance! 
Katie Leclerc: So... Daphne is actively pursuing Chef Jeff. Which is a first for her because she's used to having guys chasing after her. He exposes her to trying new experiences, and she really admires him. That's all I'm going to say. And he's REALLY HOT!! But their relationship is very questionable, so it raises a lot of eyebrows. And there will be consequences.

Question: What is it like hanging out with Constance Marie and Lea Thompson on the set? 
Katie Leclerc: Super freaking awesome. It's great to have such wonderful women for role models. I include Marlee Matlin in that as well. They're just a pleasure to work with.

Question: What is your favorite thing about working on Switched at Birth? 
Katie Leclerc: All of the new friends I've made. We have a really great time on set, and it's so great to know that something we enjoy so much making is enjoyed by so many people who watch at home.

Question: If you wrote an episode of Switched at Birth, what would it be about? 
Katie Leclerc: It would be about Daphne finding a stray dog on the street, and she would bring it into her home for just one episode. And it would be so that Gus could be on screen!

Question: Describe your dream guy. 
Katie Leclerc: I have my dream guy, and his name is Brian. He's loving and smart and funny. And most importantly, he makes me feel special, which is what I think girls need to look for in men.
